With its stunning flow of glaze colors, it is beautiful to the eye and very functional for the birds. If desired, it provides enough depth to add a fountain.

The rim is left unglazed, as are the ceramic “leaves” on the bottom of the bowl, to provide secure footing for the birds who are cautious about walking on slippery surfaces.

The bird bath comes with 4″ x 4″ post.

Birds are most comfortable when a bath is located where they can see what’s around them (no bushes under them where predators can watch and hide), and where a tree is near enough for escape.

Approximately 16” diameter x 2½” deep.

Unless you’d like to add an electric birdbath heater stone to keep water from freezing, BE SURE TO EMPTY & STORE THE BIRDBATH IN THE WINTER because frozen ice will expand and crack the birdbath.

As with all handmade pottery, every piece is “one-of-a-kind”. Minor variations may exist in shape, size and color, which is what makes each piece special.
