Finding food with the proper nutrients during the winter is difficult for wild birds.

In early spring, they still need extra nutrition following the rigor of migration and then nest building and egg production.

Throughout the summer, providing a feeder simply makes your backyard one of their favorites, should you enjoy bird watching.

With its organic design and earthy flow of glaze colors, our bird feeder is beautiful to the eye and very functional for the birds. Just hang it in a tree or on a shepherd’s hook, fill it with seeds and watch the birds come.

Built for year-round use, heat or cold.

You can choose to accent the feeder’s organic look by pushing twigs into each feeding station, or just wooden dowels. The benefit of using twigs is that they are more delicate than dowels, and birds weigh almost nothing at all while squirrels do not! None the less, we use dowels and squirrels seem happier eating seed scattered on the ground.

Though the hoods and rims around each feeding station prevent much of the rain from getting inside, there are drainage holes in the bottom to help seed dry after a storm (though our feeder draws so many birds, the seeds are cleaned out daily!)

As for type of seed, we personally prefer black oiled sunflower seeds as a crowd pleaser.
